Four days on the part nobody taught you
How you decide, how you handle what you feel, how you are with the people around you. Nobody sat you down and explained any of it.
Knowing something is not doing it
This is the principle the whole path is built on. You can know perfectly well that you should communicate differently, or hold a reaction, or make another decision — and still not manage it in the situation itself. What closes that gap is practice, not further understanding. So the instruments are used rather than described: exercises and situations in which a person can watch how they function and try a different way of handling something, while there is still no cost attached to getting it wrong.
Four days, residential, with qualified support in the room
The path runs residentially over four days. The intensive format exists so that the threads stay connected — personal reflection, the instruments themselves and direct experience of using them — rather than being picked up and dropped over weeks. Alongside the training team there is a psychotherapist available throughout, to offer a qualified professional perspective. LEARNIS ONE is the evolution of the earlier ONE programme, which ran for years in several countries and languages, with the same thing at its centre: personal skills, and what happens to them once you leave the room.
What the four days work on
1
See what drives you
The values, beliefs and habits behind how you decide — so you can tell what you actually chose from what you keep repeating.
2
Handle what you feel
Emotions shape how you communicate, decide and react. Here you learn to recognise what is happening and to work with it rather than around it.
3
Look at your relationships
How you communicate, how you read other people's behaviour, how you handle conflict — and what you would want those relationships to look like.
4
Set a direction
Putting stated values, everyday behaviour and personal goals side by side. Not a motivational exercise: a comparison, and it is usually uncomfortable.
The same protections as every Learnis path
You see the method before you pay for it, and the code of ethics that binds every centre is published. What the guarantee covers is set out on the Guarantee page.
What people ask before enrolling
What does the course actually work on?
Four areas. Personal awareness: the values, beliefs and habits that shape how you decide and how you read what happens to you — which lets you tell apart what you are choosing from what you are repeating. Handling emotions: recognising more precisely what is going on, and finding more deliberate ways of managing your own reactions. Relationships: how you communicate, how you read other people's behaviour, how you deal with conflict and misunderstanding. And values, goals and direction: putting your stated priorities next to your actual behaviour and seeing whether they match — as an observation, not as a motivational exercise.
Is it residential, and how long?
Yes. Four days, residential.
Do I need any previous experience?
No. The path requires no prior knowledge and no previous training of any kind.
Who runs the course?
Experienced trainers, with a professional qualified in psychological or psychotherapeutic support taking part throughout the four days, to bring a qualified perspective to the work.
Who is it for?
People who want to give this a structured space. In practice: those who want to understand a pattern they keep repeating, handle their emotions differently, work on the quality of their relationships, get clear about priorities, or face a change or a decision with more room to think.
What is the difference between LEARNIS ONE and LEARNIS Eagle?
Both are Personal Skills paths and both run residentially over four days. LEARNIS ONE works across awareness, emotions, relationships and personal direction. LEARNIS Eagle concentrates on one thing: personal responsibility, listening, and recovering room to act in situations where it feels as though there is none. People often do them in that order, but they are not a sequence and neither requires the other.
What is it supposed to change?
The four areas are the material worked on. What they are worked on for is narrower and easier to check: how you feel in an ordinary week, and how well the things you do line up with what you say matters to you. The group describes those two as wellbeing and success, which are broad words — the useful version is that someone close to you should be able to notice a difference without being told there was a course.
