Knowing a skill and using it are two different things

Programmes that come back to the same skills over time, so that what you learn shows up in what you do.

Listening, communication, organisation, responsibility and problem solving decide a great deal of what happens at work and at home. LEARNIS Academy gives them a place to be worked on continuously rather than covered once. At its base is a central online Academy, one for each country, with free attendance and sessions held weekly or fortnightly. Alongside it run the Ambassador Academy, in person at the centres, and three thematic programmes for parents, teachers and professionals. Sessions alternate content, exercises, discussion and application, and return to the same competences cyclically. Attending one programme never excludes attending the others.

Why continuity is the whole mechanism

A single session on communication changes very little, and everyone who has attended one knows it. What changes something is returning to the same skill after weeks, having tried it in the meantime, and finding out where it did not work. That is what the Academy is built to do: not to cover a syllabus, but to give a skill enough occasions to be practised, missed, and practised again. It is the part of Transformative Education that cannot be delivered in a course, only over time and within a Group of Peers.

How access works

Access to the Academy programmes comes with a subscription to LEARNIS Magazine. One subscription, all of them.
