Learnis at a glance
What Learnis is
Learnis is the international brand of a group of education companies that have shared a method, a set of values and a common origin for almost twenty years. Across the three countries the group runs more than forty learning centres, works with certified instructors and tutors, and reaches over five thousand participants a year. The starting point is the same in every country: before deciding what to teach someone, find out how they learn.
Where it comes from
The first courses were taught in 2005 in Turin, and from 2006 in Milan and Florence. In 2012 the founders published the Italian bestseller Genio in 21 giorni, which brought a personalised study method to a general readership and opened the way to working abroad: the United States from 2012, Spain from 2013.
In 2017 the Italian companies formalised a business network. Each new country forced the group to separate what genuinely belonged to the method from what depended on Italian habits — a demanding test, and a useful one.
The course itself changed along the way. What began as a set of learning techniques grew into a personalised method: profiling, observation of how a person actually studies, metacognition, one-to-one tutoring, materials, digital tools and support that continues after the classroom.
What it works on
Three connected fields, not three different audiences.
Learning Skills come first, because learning is the meta-ability that makes every other capability possible: someone who can observe how they understand, choose a strategy, check a result and correct course is better equipped for anything that follows.
Personal Skills extend the work to emotions, relationships, wellbeing and the way a person defines success. Professional Skills carry it into working life: leading a team, developing people, taking responsibility for results.
The same person can move through all three. Most start with one.
How it is organised
Learnis is the international masterbrand. Its management is drawn from every national branch and organised into global committees that set and update standards, internal training and methodological development, under the direction of the two founders.
In each country the lead company continues to coordinate its own national network, under the agreements already in force there. Alongside them sit the corporate assets — Academy, Master, Magazine and the tutoring school — which cut across all three fields and belong to the group as a whole rather than to any single market.
How it holds itself to account
The group publishes a corporate code of ethics, written through an internal process involving every local department and office. In each country where it operates it appoints an independent ethics guarantor and an ethics committee external to the company, tasked with assessing the conduct of local centres and staff.
Results are documented through certified participant testimonials, published in full and open to inspection.

The founders are still running it
Massimo De Donno and Giacomo Navone founded the first courses and still lead the network. The Learnis structure does not replace what each company built in its own country: it connects it, and puts twenty years of experience at the service of more people than any of them could reach alone.
